Apple, American electronics major announced education-focused event at high school in Chicago. The event is an initiative by company to share innovative ideas with education sector. However, the company did not disclose any information regarding launch of particular product at the event. Unusual venue at new state and city certainly heralds something out of the ordinary.
Apple is expected to launch new series of iPad and MacBook in 2018, along with new generation of iPhone models. Also, the company is reportedly working on launching cheaper iPad by the end of 2018. It is expected that the company will launch one of these products for educational purpose in upcoming event. As Apple positions iPad tablet lineup as laptop and desktop replacements, and the launch could be a way for the company to push its tablets into the education market that witness high adoption of low-cost laptops such as Chromebooks.
