Bajaj Electricals to Unveil IoT-Enabled Air Cooler in India

The Bajaj Electricals, India-based consumer electrical equipment manufacturing major launched Bajaj Cool.iNXT, first of its kind Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled air cooler

The company is focused on improving customer’s experience using advanced technology and innovative designs. IoT enabled air coolers have huge demand from residential space and commercial space. “We are extremely excited and proud to launch India’s first IoT enabled air cooler. Real intelligence is when technologies interact with one another to make things effortlessly happen,” said Anant Bajaj, joint managing director of Bajaj Electricals on launch event.

Cool.iNXT can be controlled through art mobile app, iR remote, and digital control panel on the cooler. The cooler has water holding capacity of 22 litre with easy Wi-Fi and internet-enabled operation with mobile app. Also, it features intelligent sensor that monitors temperature and humidity of the room. It has five level of speed control and four cooling levels. Furthermore, it features digital control and display panel, digital low water level indicator, honeycomb cooling media for efficient cooling, and ice Chamber for faster cooling.

The product will be launched by Chroma, leading partner of the company. The product is priced a Rs. 15,999 in India. The company will be working on making this device suitable for asthma patients with updated version of product. “We want the technology to earn a permanent place in everyday life, where IoT technology will play a crucial role making the process of cooling homes and commercial spaces smarter, effective and effortless,” said Anant Bajaj.
