Google Launches Symptom Search to Answer Health Issues

Google launches a new feature called Symptom Search to answer all the health issues, according to a report published in Gadgets Now on February 27, 2018.

A new feature has been launched by search giant Google that will be helpful to the users. This feature called as Symptom Search is aimed at improving the quality of search and making it simpler for the users to know the symptoms of various health issues. They had announced that information about symptoms that are commonly searched on Google will be added to this feature in the coming week.

For instance, when symptoms of cough and pain are searched by the user, a list of symptoms such as common cold, flu and chest infection will be shown by the app. Digital cards are shown by the app for individual symptoms and it also gives information about options for self-treatment. If any particular symptom requires a visit to the doctor, it is shown by the digital cards as well. For the information to be India centric, Google is working with doctors at Apollo hospitals. The main aim of Google is to help the users to find the symptoms for various diseases and help them to look for professional assistance at the earliest.

Health condition cards were introduced by the company in 2016 for the Indian users to attain reliable information about health issues. This feature will be available in two languages for both Android and iOS users.
