Maruti Suzuki is set to showcase next-generation SUV concept while Tata Motors is going to uncover new language Impact Design 2.0 at the Auto Expo in February 2018.
Leading automakers of India Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors announced on January 08, 2017, that they will be offering new product launch at the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2018. Maruti Suzuki will showcase Future S concept, a compact car designed on the lines of a sports utility vehicle (SUV). The maker of Swift and Alto also released sketches of the concept car. The car features upright stance giving a higher seating and ground clearance. It will have a horizontal hood giving it an aggressive stance. “The increasing preference for UVs and their bold architecture inspired our design team to study a new character for compact cars,” said C V Raman, senior executive director, Maruti Suzuki India.
India’s fourth-largest car maker Tata Motors highlighted on smart mobility keeping in line with the government’s vision for future mobility solutions. The company is going to showcase 26 smart mobility solutions across its passenger and commercial vehicle categories. “For over seven decades, Tata Motors has led the mobility space in the country by bringing global innovations to meet customer needs. In line with our efforts to support the government’s vision our pavilion at the Auto Expo is developed under the theme of Smart Mobility, Smart Cities,” said Guenter Butschek, CEO and MD, Tata Motors.
