Robinhood to Provide Commission-free Cryptocurrency Trading

Robinhood, the zero-fee stock trading app, announced that it intends to make it easier for users to buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum, in January 2018.

The company is planning on enabling users buy and sell cryptocurrencies of bitcoin and ethereum. After enough planning and prepping up, Robinhood finally created its platform to enable users to trade these currencies on February 23, 2018. It is making this trade accessible in in California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire, with plans to expand to other states in the U.S.

A user who does not belong to any one of the aforementioned states it is currently offering access to, can still monitor and track market data for all 16 cryptocurrencies with the help of the Robinhood app. Being a user of this app, will also provide access to a new feed, as a means for users to discuss cryptocurrency, news, and market swings in real time with other users on the system. Robinhood Feed has designed to be made available to a hand full of people and have selectively limited the access, however, one can always update the app to check if they are eligible to gain access to this feed.
